Alias Season 4

Did anyone watch Alias Season 4 today? Man it is going be one boring hell of CIA missions. The season opener is slow and choppy. I hope they improve in future episodes.

Garner has a history of dating co-stars.

She dated and married Scott Foley after guest-starring in "Felicity" a couple of times.

After she divorced Foley, she jumped into a relationship with Michael Vartan, her "Alias" co-star, on the rebound.

After breaking up with Vartan, she started dating Ben Affleck, her "Daredevil" co-star.

I didn't know that Garner and vaughn dated in real life too.

Affleck will probably make a guest appearance on Alias some time in the near future, especially during the sweeps period. They've had Tarantino and Ethan Hawke guest star before, so getting Affleck will not be a stretch.

real life...it's possible that their characters will never be a couple again because it would be uncomfortable for the actors.

I don't watch "Alias", but face time between Garner and Vartan must be awkward due to their breaking up. Wanna bet that Ben Affleck goes to the sets sometimes to check up on his gf? :p

It's not entirely out of the question for Garner to date J.J. Abrams. After all, he created both "Felicity" and "Alias".

It should be interesting to see how the relationship btw Sydney, Nadia and Jack develops because Nadia has vowed to kill whomever that killed Derevko. As you say, Derevko might not be dead but I doubt that Lena Olin will come back to reprise her role.

Marshall is always fun to watch as he's the comic relief. Also they need to spice up the Sydney-Vaughn relationship as it's getting stale. Contrary to many other fans, I actually liked S3 with Melissa George as Sydney's new nemesis. But I hope they keep the Rambaldi theme off the table this season.

I noticed that they are getting to the basic in S4. The biggest problem I had with the start of S4 is - it is still too busy focussing more on the missions rather than on the character development. We still don't know how Sydney truely feels about what she discovers in the end of S3. All the characters look tired. The only one who looks fresh is Marshall!!. If they stick to the basics of S1 and S2 - focussing more on characters, it will be great fun otherwise its not worth watching these clunkers!!! The other problem - Alias is becoming to predictable with its unpredictable nature:)

Season openers are usually a stage to set the tone of the series for the new season. As JJ Abrams said in interviews, they are going back to the basics in S4. As you can see, they are practically going back to S1 with the SD-6-like black ops headed by Sloane. But we shall see how S4 turns out. It's still early.

Unfortunately, I thought Rick Yune would have a bigger role this season but instead he gets killed by Sydney.

Im a huge Alias fan but because im in the UK i havent seen all of season 4 but from what ive seen Nadias a weak character and am thinking its lucky shes only in it for the one season because im not warming to her like the others she seems to make sydney very angry and very vulnerable. Also Jennifer Garner is married to Ben Affleck now so she wont be dating JJ however cute he is as she is pregnant as well so Sydney is going to be pregnant in Season Five and yes the baby will be Vaughns. Due to the real life dating between Jen and Michael it was suggested that the Vaughn maybe killed off as the air was uneasy between them. But ive since heard that he is definitely coming back for season five. I heard 2 rumours that Jennifer was going to quit after season five but i also hear that shes contracted until 2008. They are bringing in another female character to vamp it up while Syd is pregnant - im not sure how its going to work but congrats to her on being in a loving relationship. :D

Also Kate from LOST Evangelina Lily is dating the Hobbit Guy - Charlie the drug addict from LOST.
