In an interview with ComingSoon.net, Mr. Bay has compared his "Fantastic Backgrounds" and the "Unbelievable Sets" with Apocalypse Now and Ben-Hur. Now I liked the first one and I am pumped to see number 2, but come on Michael. I knew you were irrogant but this takes the cake dude.

And I understand he's getting Francis Coppola to direct and Charlton Heston to star. Yeah, the guy can do anything.

Come on you guys, give credit where credit is due. Bay is one of the best directors in Hollywood today. The guy is already a legend and will go down as one of the great directors of our time. His works are flawless to every degree and unmatched by anyone else in the business. People really need to stop picking on the guy all the time. Why when anyone is doing good in life or on top of their game in the lime light, we always feel the need to tear them down. And for what, to make our miserable little lives seem that much more worth it? Face it, he's a legend, and as long as he keeps making blockbusters that rake in millions, then I'm pretty sure he's got job security.

No kidding. Tim almost sounds sincere. :p

Michael Bay is just trying to hype up the movie like any other director. Hopefully Transformers 2 is better than the first.

I doubt it. How many chunks of talking metal can you see hitting each other while stock characters shout empty lines in the background?
