It has been reported, that Disney/Pixar will release Toy Story 1,2 (3D) on October 2ND as a double feature. This will also be the premier for The Toy Story 3 trailer. Also in the same report, Beauty and The Beast will be released in 3D on February 12, 2010.

Is this going to be on DVD? Bluray?

I still use the beginning of Toy Story 2 as a test scene for my sound system. Right up until you realize the Dinosaur and Buzz are playing a game.

Would love to get the 2 Toy Story movies in bluray and The Incredibles also. Oh ya, and Shrek 1 and 2.

BTW, Bolt rocks on bluray. Have any of you guys scene the Hamster short in the extras section? Pretty funny.

This is not an April Fools joke, right? Both Toy Story and 2 will be released as a double 3D feature, right??

John, if you go to the Comingsoon.com web site, it has the full story there. Just type into the search block at the top right corner "toy story 2" and the story from March 31 will be there. It is for real.

I guess I should read posts more carefully instead of just skimming through them as I did this one. I had the idea that the announcement was regarding a DVD or Blu-ray release of the movies. Instead, it's a theatrical re-release in 3-D. Oh, well.... I'll learn.

I'll say one thing, Disney does do a bang up job when it comes to PQ. I've had "POTC: Curse of the Black Pearl" for a couple months now on BD, but had not got around to checking it out until today. WOW! That one is certainly one of the better Broooo-rays available. The PQ was near perfect, and consistency is something I can not say about other studio's BD releases. All the Disney BD's I've had thus far have been outstanding in PQ.
