For quite a number of us the main difference between the 80 and 60 is the fact that the US 60 can not play Divx and the 80 can. To view a divx movie in 1080i or 1080p on the DMP-BD60 you would first have to convert the format to DVD-video then burn it to a disc then play it. Not a lot of work for one movie, but for 100 divx files it sucks. With the DMP-DB80 you just copy your files to a flash drive and play them as 1080i or p - Wicked cool.

As for the 7.1 analogue output, that's an added bonus. I'm getting one mainly for divx without burning and upscalled youtube. It's nice that it plays blu-ray as well.

The DMP-BD80 is certainly a sweet machine but I got the 60 because I have no interest in DIVX and the audio difference wasn't worth a $100 more to me.
