Spike Lee is a powerful, and positive inspiration. Many who call themselves American, their hearts are fragile. "They are filled with an ancient disease of racism and hatred, that many in fact, sadly suffer from." Clint Eastwood could really care less about people of color, and our achievements. "Haters" reject the historical records, and struggles of African Americans. People of color are the backbone of this Nation. My people died on slave ships, and bloodlines were broken for the greed of "evil" souls.

kasheen, you're several months late to a non-issue, in which spike lee was up to his usual race-baiting.

besides, clint eastwood directed this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0094747/ .

Too bad Clint isn't 25yrs younger so he could beat the crap out of him.
Lee couldn't make a decent movie if his life depended on it... Hes just jealous that Clint can.

Well, I can't say that about Spike, I do like his films, even though most of them are preachy racial topics. And to say Clint doesn't like people of color would be slander at this point since there isn't, and never will be, any hard evidence of it. In fact, there's probably more evidence that Clint loves people of color. That man has stated several times that he hates the music of today and only likes older jazz and blues founded by people of color. Last time I checked, Morgan Freeman, a man of color and a good friend of Clint's, has been in two of his films. Yep, Clint is sounding more racist than I ever imagined.

Yes, these two look so . . . unhappy with each other.

What a laugh! Who's the racist idiot that started this thread?
I have to admit, I love all the self pity BS with the ancestors died on merchant ships coming to America crap! Please!
Hmmm, let's go back about 3000-years when Egyptians enslaved Hebrews . . . and did you know that Egyptians of the time were essentially considered "black"?
Or, how about this -- next time you see a railroad, stop and think about all the Chinese that were basically treated like slaves -- many of them DIED from poor living conditions -- and stop and think, when was the last time you ever heard a Chinese guy bitch about how they were treated in the late 1800's.

I could go on all day with races that have been persecuted throughout history, and any of you that have read your history well know what I'm talking about. Why African American's insist that their conditions were worse than the Hebrews and Jews is beyond me! All I know is I'm tired of hearing about "the struggle" in an attempt to spread guilt among white people. Guess what? Life is a struggle no matter what color you are! Just because I'm white does not mean I had a free pass given to me. I, too, have to fight my way through the trenches just to make a living, and trust me, there are no handouts for ANYONE!

You know, I thought with Obama getting elected that maybe, just maybe, some of this racist BS would take a back seat. But as you can see, the precious "struggle" will never end -- which is pathetically sad, by the way.

Personally I think they are both great Directors in their own right.

It's unfortunate though that personal views has taken them down this path.
