I noticed the other day that my local Walmart has replenished all the sold out Blu Rays and have gotten a whole bunch of players stocked. Problem is that all the new Blu Rays are $30 even though their website has them for $25. Also, the only players they have are (1) Sony, (2) Samsung 1500 and (3) Phillips. I will never buy at those prices but it was still interesting to see them stocking up.

Two days ago I went to Walmart (and spent 30 minutes making a line at the cashier, nevermind that it was midnight), and they have about ten or more titles that are $15, including LA Confidential...was tempted to buy, but the blu-rays were 'held' together, and the electronics department was closed.

I'll check next time to see which other titles they had...oh, and no $5 Trek...

Yeah, they're well-stocked. Not well-stocked like Best Buy, but well-stocked for Walmart standards.

eh the only thing my Wal Mart added recently was a live bait vending machine, and a Redbox movie machine. People seemed to be really excited by that bait machine though.

"Live Bait." I hope that's not what it sounds like. I mean, it's a rock band, right? Or do you live in the bayous?

My walmart's blu selection is about the same. Whats funny is the ps3 display. For the past 2 years when you walked down the videogame aisle the ps3 was the first display you came to, then the 360, and finally the wii was regulated to the back. Starting about 2 months ago the wii is now front and center with an expanded section, the 360 is still second in the display, and the ps3 is in the very back. Its even farther back than the wii display was and the display has shrunk to a much smaller space than before.

Considering I buy most, if not all of my movie purchases on-line, what Walmart does in and to their "entertainment" department really doesn't concern me in the least....

But new bait and propane cylinder exchange vending machines excite me

Maybe they should put BD vending machines in their stores. Alongside the bait.
