People have said that the magic price point for a blu-ray player is $200.

What do you think is the magic price point for a new Blu-ray release and why?

These prices are about right for legacy titles. $19.99 for new releases. And then when the tech. becomes cheaper to manufacture, BD should fall in line with current SD prices and eventually take over. Atleast thats what would happen in a "perfect" world. I do worry a bit though about these price drops, is BD on its last legs?

I'd say 25 bucks for a new release.

I already picked up Iron Man for 16 bucks at Costco... a month ago.

Unfortunately that's not very realistic. I mean. At that point I might as well say Video Games 25 dollars. As nice as that would be, by that point no one would be making a profit on anything. Only loss. A whole lot of loss.
