I love that Paramount seems to make an effort in providing the extras in HD. Thanks!

I have the UK editions on Blu of 2 and 3, which have the same features these seem to have. The features are good, but brief, but the picture quality (especially on 3) is awful. The UK cover art is also much better. Since I do have the first 3 on Blu now, though, I hope 4-6 end up on Blu in the near future.

Wasn't the picture quality of the original theatrical prints less than ideal on the first few "Friday the 13th" movies? I wouldn't want and wouldn't expect a high-def editions to try to improve upon the originals. It's in such cases that we usually get too much DNR filtering and too much edge enhancement, and the results can sometimes look worse than what the transfer engineers started with.

I just hope Paramount releases Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood as an Uncut release when it comes to special edition and BluRay.
