Each episode is like a mini-movie plot wise, with dynamic characters who sneak up on you. The eppy where Joan takes off her bra to reveal how it digs into her shoulder really crystalized her in my mind.
Just a fantastic series. I didn't remember just how much I missed it until just now...

The announcement made me go back and watch the last two episodes of season 1. Amazing in a unsettling and yet beautiful way.
