Mike... wouldn't it just be easier to simply use a color copier for your HD DVD covers, send the originals to Warner, and use the copies of the artwork for your kept HD DVD discs?

But wouldn't it also be easier for me to make someone else do it for me?! I guess you have a point though. My only issue is getting it right. But... You make a valid point. I' could probably just use my Printer/scanner.

hmmm... trade HD-DVD for blu-ray... lemme think (as I take a swig of beer, and listen to the score from batman begins, a movie i PROUDLY own on HD-DVD) PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay, as i may have blu-ray now, i still honor HD-DVD as a high-definition format! when i first got my player, i got the best titles out there - transformers, blade runner (got that one a day prior to the WB HD-DVD dump announcement), the bourne trilogy, sky captain, face/off, superman returns, and 300. i have 21 HD-DVD movies, and can probably get more if i choose probably will too.

i respect blu-ray obviously - i have a good list to compliment the above - dark knight and amadeus are a couple big duhs... but seriously, i feel no need to "upgrade" or get the "right edition" when what i have still gives me the exact - i say again EXACT - enjoyment i want out of whatever movie in question it would be. so as i will still be getting movies on blu-ray for time to come, HD-DVD will not be forgotten to me

once again...

YOU KEEP YOUR HD DVD DISCS. YOU SEND WARNER THE COVER ART OR SOMETHING ELSE WITH THE UPC. WARNER SENDS YOU A NEW, COMPLETE REPLACEMENT BLU-RAY. YOU END UP OWNING BOTH VERSIONS.

And to think that I almost rebuy a few of those movies on the sale that Target had a few days back...but for less than $7 you keep your HD DVD discs and you get a blu-ray disc...how is that bad when most of these titles street for about at least $18??

The only thing we do need to get clear, is if we get a brand new copy in blu-ray, or just the disc and cover art...again, I don't mind having 'red' HD DVD cases in the same shelf as my blu-rays...

Yes Mr. Johnson I ws a HD DVD supporter but it is what it is. I am in it for the movies for which I LOVE.

As I aid before, yes my A35 works just fine and so do the HD DVD movies I put in them. But, soon the player will go KABOOM, and I just want the movies on Blu Ray so I can enjoy them. I sent my order this morning, 7 movies for $52.00, thats not to bad. And one of the 7 was Balde Runner.

I would do this but I don't want to give up on my HD-DVDs, they should do it to where you just give them your labels or something.

(I went for 300, Prizoner of Azkhaban, and the best deal Planet Earth)

You do not have to turn in your HD DVD Disc's, only the labels or the cover art. Ok one more time, only the LABELS and or COVER ART. You get to keep the HD DVD movies.

And if anybody needs new, empty Blu-ray, HD DVD, DVD, or CD cases, you can always buy them cheaply at http://www.sleevetown.com/dvd-case.shtml

Good if you break or damage a case.

(Why does this sound like spam? I'm gonna report this guy.)
