Yahoo.com has reported that actor Dom DeLuise has died at age 75. He had been sick for awhile, and he died in his sleep.

Sad. He was hilarious in the Cannonball Run.

I thought he was at his best as Father Fyodor in one of Mel Brooks's least-known comedies, "The Twelve Chairs." A funny picture made all the funnier by Dom DeLuise.

I think Dom was funny in ANY Mel Brooks film. Two scenes in "History of the World: Part I" that still put me in tears of laughter are "the last supper" scene and Dom playing Ceaser! He totally overplays it, but that's exactly what made it so damn funny.

What a bummer and I always heard he was just a sweet guy. Sad when this happens to the good guys.
