Yea, I am bored here today...kinda rainy/overcast...wish I could be home...

Anyway, I think I asked this once with DVDs, but now that we have Blu...

What is your favorite demo worthy sequence on Blu ray that you would use to show off your goods?

Are there any particular sequences from those films that stand out as demo-worthy?

For example, Casino Royale may have the chase after the title credits or the airport sequence.

For me, although there are others, I love the I, Robot scene when Will Smith is in the tunnel and is being harrassed by the robots while he is driving his Audi. Also, the house demolition scene.

Quantum of Solace: I love the pre-credits sequence leading up to the theme song.

But that's what I'm getting at with "WALL-E" (granted, this is all opinion based). If I'm going to pick a film for show-off quality, than why not pick one were every scene is worthy?

I go w/ Wall-e when we need a nap. Looks great but pretty boring on repeated viewing.

I usually pop in something like The Searchers since the difference between what was on DVD and the Blu ray is so much larger than newer releases.

From Ratatouille, I think when he is on the sewer trying to get somewhere...or when the rats are in the pantry of the restaurant...all of it is beautiful...

As for Casino Royale, the black and white sequence at the beginning looks amazing...

EDIT: Wonder how Minority Report and A.I. would fare on blu...like the scene where they get into the city with the mouth (A.I.)...or during the chase for Minority Report...and while driving the car...

I never saw Wall-E...so I'll just have to take your word for it. I plan on renting it one day...maybe now sooner than later.

Minority Report is definitely one I'm waiting for!! Should look awesome. I like the way it was filmed.

I'd show Indiana Jones and the Chrystal Skull (the first cartoon in the series). It will amaze them with the 95% green screen cgi.

Well, if it's your screen you wanna show off just throw in any of the discs from "Planet Earth". Amazing documentary, breathtaking visuals. I mean, this will turn any flat panel into a moving work of art.
