I was recently contemplating buying ST: TOS when I found the entire series on HULU and in HD. Has anyone tried HULU and what was your impression?

Hulu is where I generally catch new episodes of The Simpsons. I can't watch in real time and our Fox affiliate and the TiVO don't play nice together, so I head online to grab them, usually the Sunday morning after they air. Just watched last week's ep tonight, actually, while the BF was watching Harper's Island.

I've yet to have a problem with it and quite highly recommend the site. The commercials aren't terribly long, there isn't generally any synching or streaming issue and it's all very intuitive to use. ABC just signed with them to put programs on the site. Only CBS is the holdout now.

Jason, sounds like a commercial

I just saw one episode of The Office, and it looked pretty good. I also actually tried to watch an episode of TOS in HD, but my connection is too slow, and there was a lag, so I had to stop.

Like Jason said, the commercials are 30 seconds, which is really good, and the overall quality IMO, was really good.

Jason, I actually sat down to watch a Simpsons episode last week, which I hadn't done in months, maybe years, it was the one where Bart falls for the girl in the nursing home...and gotta admit, I felt the show went too fast with too few things to explore...

I have found that the FOX website has a great video player but NBC's is trash. So i catch up on my Office shows with HULU. Seems to work well for me. I have some problems with Hi Def however since my connection is only 3mbs download speed.

They're just doing the same things over and over again now. Even with the huge supporting cast, it does become stale after a while.

But I still watch because I'm programmed to.

I've never had any problems with the NBC streaming, regardless of the fact that the video quality isn't as good...and I was surprised at how good The Office looked on HULU (specially since I saw most of this season from my recordings from NBC in HD at my PC).

Will definitely be catching ST:TOS on HULU...

Is there any way to stream to a TV besides hooking you computer up to it?

Netflix has a box that you can buy for $99 or you can use your XBOX 360 to stream TV shows from Netflix. The Playstation Store also allows your PS3 to view TV shows but other than that to get internet streaming it would have to be a PC.

That Play On service has my interest peaked. Thanks for letting us know. I'll have to try that tonight.
