What do you guys think of this receiver, the Onkyo 607? It's less than $375 in 6ave, and I've been thinking to upgrade my HTIB...now, what speakers would you recommend for this receiver, for about $200-$300?

Since the receiver has all the power and HDMI connections and advanced audio decoders you could want, it seems like a steal at its retail price of $600. For $375, you should buy a couple of them.

As for speakers, how big, how good, and how many? Do you mean $200-$300 apiece for seven of them, plus a subwoofer or two, or do you mean $200-$300 for all seven speakers and subwoofers (a neat trick unless you want junk)?

I have an Onkyo 6.1 receiver and love it(been using it for a few years). Don't see how you could go wrong with this one. It has 5 Hdmi connections in the back(awesome).

Since I don't think I'll get all 7.1 for less than $300, what's your recommendation for the 7. for less than $300? I get paid on Friday, so I'll get it then (hopefully)
