Hmm. This is kind of a no brainer. As long as we are in a recession people are less likely to try anything new especially if it means parting with more of their hard earned money. I'm just glad that a survey was finally done with a large enough sample size to actually give a legitimate perspective on this topic. Previous surveys were always suspect in my opinion because not enough people were included.

BluRay is and always will be a niche product, and the widespread use of downloads is still a long ways off. DVD will be the king for a long time.

Yeah, I obviously haven't been buying all that many Blu's lately. I bought the Fly special edition and now look forward the Star Trek original movies on BD, but not much really that I can evaluate at this point. Unless it is a great deal.
