To buy...or not...

Who actually already bought this?

I'm very tempted at $11.66 per movie...

EDIT: Nevermind, it's back up at $79.99...

If you wait a week or two, the price on used (and new) copies will drop significantly. Or at Amazon you can buy one "collectible" copy now for $135, which is almost the full suggested retail price.

OK, now I admit I'm an idiot. But what could be so special about the "collectible" set as opposed to a new copy sold at discount? What makes it "collectible"?

Edit: Oh, wait. I see that the $135 copy is offered by Movies Unlimited. This is a site that in my experience has dealt openly with bootleg materials, some of their own making. They claim the $135 set is "brand new and factory sealed." Yeah, so? Just like everybody's copies that are almost half that price.

John -

It seems like people just try to dupe people into buying the "Collectible" grade films. However sometimes I really do see things that are collectible. In example, someone was selling Some movie that was autographed and also came with a lot of autographed Swag from Comic Con. THAT... I would consider eligible for that classification. Amazon should crack down on it.
