I came out of this movie and all i could say was: wow. The fact that the incident that occurred in the mid 90's was mostly overlooked was shocking. As one character puts it in the movie: "If people see this footage, they'll go, 'Oh my God! That's horrible!" then go on eating their dinner." This movie should have been nominated for the best picture oscar, if only because the story it tells is more important than bio-pics of Howard Hughes, J.M. Barrie, and Ray Charles. People must know what happened, and now that this movie is getting wider exposure, no one can say they weren't informed.

I agree. I thought it should have been nominated right up there with "Million Dollar Baby." It was one of the most powerful films I watched all last year, and Don Cheadle was terrific in it.

It was good and I agree it should have been nominated for best picture but The Aviator was the best picture I saw last year and Scorsese should finally get his long overdue oscar.
