I just picked up a copy of Ray today on DVD. I noticed that there are two versions of this movie, one an extended version that adds alot.
My question is, has anyone seen both and what is the difference?
I mean, I want to screen this with my Grandpa but I don't think he will want to sit through the extended cut. Is that o.k. Will I miss something extremely important by just watching the shorter version? I don't want to miss something big but if it's just say, deleted scenes that is a bunch of filler then it won't matter.
Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts. Thanks

I thought the theatrical version was too long to begin with. But if you like Ray Charles's music, as I do, I hope they just added more of it.
