In a recent interview with BBC journalist Lizo Mzimba, actor Shia LaBeouf revealed that work on the next Indiana Jones film has begun. LaBeouf played the part of Mutt Williams, Indy's son, in last year's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

When asked about the fifth film in the Indiana Jones franchise the Transformers actor said: "Steven [Spielberg] just said that he cracked the story on it, I think they're gearing that up"

Hopefully it's not 100% green screen like the last. However, with Lucas as the daddy of the project it probably will be.

That's what i thought too, but apparently spielberg and kaminski shot MOST OF IT with practical effects and actual locations, which sounds ridiculous i know, but that's what they say.

I Can't even start guessing what will a fifth movie do to this franchise. They had the chance to update the series and they turned it into a sick, disney film. What i'm guessing is either a REBOOT! (The latest fad in hollywood) or shia starring the film and basically becoming the new indy, i find either case disturbing to the stomach.

I think they did shoot a lot of it in real locations. The Problem is the green screen locations are SO out of place, that you come from the theater and they're all you can remember.

I swear all the outdoor scenes looked totaly fake. You know for sure that the scenery driving thru the jungles is fake. Too obvious in most places.

You know, all the other IJ films had several location shots that appeared fake. Why IJ4 gets more grief for it I'll never understand.

we don't watch these movies anymore through our inner child eye's. everybody that grew up on these flicks have grown up themselves. alot of kids actually prefer the prequel trilogy...maybe these movies really arent as bad as they seem to us to this generation but their is no doubt that we had better when we were kids.

...that, and also the fact that in the previous films they were faked due to limitation. look at the shots in the last crusade with the zeppelin taking of or the dog fight afterward. it looks fake, but it's short. With 4 they over did it. If that's the kind of movies they both had in mind shooting back then, we were lucky that cgi was at it's infancy back then.
