I have, but it's just the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again!!

Let it go and use that energy trying to get your representatives and senators to do something that will actually be helpful for everybody...really, let it go...

So why repeat the same "Oh but it's just meant to be a popcorn movie" non-argument over again when it's already been discussed extensively in the thread?

See? You just can't let it go...it's like it's a bad thing to like those movies, and you have to love Slumdog Millionaire or Milk...go figure...

Oh come now, don't take it so serious. A lot of it has been some fun teasing and banter, and we've all known each other long enough to get away with it every now and then.

It's like your in a Pub with a few friends knocking down a few cold ones, and cutting each other down only to be redeemed in a sea of humiliating laughter. Because that's what boys generally do. It's all fun, no harm done.

Now those are fighting words. I'd rather watch Michael Bay's entire oeuvre in a single sitting than have to watch 10 minutes of Slumdog again.

from what i'm gathering the movie is really really loud, and you can't really tell what the hell is going on onscreen because of the fast editing and the fact that the bots all kinda look the same. sooo even the effects are getting hammered this time around. ebert is calling it the end of an era on his site. meaning this movie really cannot be outdone as far as bombast goes and it's time to scale down a bit. i hope george lucas got the memo, looks at his dual trilogy's and decides hmm, what if i were to rename episodes 4,5,6,-7,8,9..and make 3 movies dealing with events that occure after revenge of the sith, but do them the old way without cgi....(lol, hey i can dream right.)

anyway bay is probably wanting to quit because he cannot outdo himself. he blew his wad on this one.

I just saw the movie today. Man, that movie SUCKED BIG TIME. I mean just plain STUPID. This is me coming in with an open mind, who also collects Transformer series (including CGI versions) & japanese animation... and I can honestly say, that this sequel was WORSE than the first movie - which I partially liked due to its action sequences (but awful in terms of story & logic, which I tolerated).

Hopefully, the next headline about the director will be "MICHAEL BAY TO RETIRE TO A LIFE OF QUIET MEDITATION".

So I tried yesterday to watch the movie...but it was SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE. Anyways, instead we watched Drag Me To Hell...which was just OK...but liked the ending a lot...

Wow this movie is getting REALLY bad reviews...

Quote:
On every level this movie is as bankrupt as GM.

Bay, who is the true Decepticon. Disguised as a human director, Bay is actually a destroyer of dreams.

I know there are still 17 months to go, but I'm thinking Transformers 2 has a shot at the title Worst Movie of the Decade.

He gave it 0 out of 5 stars. lol
