Published Jun 22, 2009 Nearly half of U.S. consumers now own an HDTV, (new Harris Poll). Add that to the fact that prices of both Blu-ray players and discs are falling rapidly, and consumer indifference to HD players is a telling sign.

Smiles, yes, I agree........ and the window of opportunity is closing fast since Pioneer decided to get out of the plasma business. I am not sure how much longer these sets will be around. I am hoping the Panasonics reach that level of picture in the next generation or so, the new generation are getting closer to the level the Pio established. By the time I am ready to move up to a 60" or 65", that will probably be the best game in plasma, unless Samsung closes the gap. Forgive my ignorance, my pics of my theater set-up are stored on my computer, not at another site like flickr. How can I post the image when the URL needs to be linked between the IMG brackets. Do I need to store these at a site like that to link back to?

Well, I think there are a few Johns here , and I also have respect for your reviewing skills, as well as the wonderful site you have built here..... so I was just being nice and showing some respect, you know, that "southern thing" lol. I have actually been reading your reviews for years, just recently decided to join and contribute some, but I'll drop the "Mr" then

I see. I fell out of touch with ZZ Top back when they sold out in the late 80's, but I still admire much of their old material. I too play guitar and have for the past 25yrs and I'm happy to say "Guitar Hero" sucks and doesn't even come close to the real thing.

I just can't understand the fascination with guitar hero, bunch of fools playing air guitar, lol. I guess it's different if you can actually play, maybe we are missing some form of thrill they get out of it. All I know is it looks rediculous to me, but then I have played semi professionally.
