Seriously, I've watched the trailer for the movie several times now in theaters, and it does look thoughtful and interesting. As long as it doesn't deteriorate into just another battle of the big, ugly alien robots kind of movie, it might hold promise. We'll see.

District9 Looks great, it peaks the interest. It would be an interesting trip to the cinemas.

It reminds me a lot of the Terminator Salvation trailer. Hopefully it's a better movie though.

Granted, this looks like it has a more global view of the situation, but the idea of aliens stopping off and becoming stranded here while having to assimilate into human culture somehow. Perhaps with more nefarious motives.
So, not Lethal Weapon with aliens, but more like Body of Lies with aliens?
Just don't leave your heart in Sam Francisco...
