DTS HD?????? holy crap, there goes my living room! i just wonder if they'll do what they did with dark knight and blow up the imax scenes into the whole screen, that would be awesome!

i kinda wish though they released star trek on this release date and transformers gets the release date that star trek origninally had.

DTS HD Master Audio is a fine lossless audio format, the exact equal of Dolby TrueHD. If the same soundtrack is mastered in both formats, they should, theoretically, sound identical. If one of them, like the DTS format, sounds louder or more dynamic, it's because the audio engineers altered the movie's original sound. This happened early on in DTS's history, where the engineers would artificially raise the mid bass to give the soundtrack more zip and wow some listeners. In the lossless format, it shouldn't be happening anymore, and I haven't heard of it happening.

Now, if only Paramount had set an early disc release date for "Star Trek" and forgotten they even had "Transformers 2," I'd be happy.
