So I was at the local theatre I always go to, and saw a teaser poster (with our favorite green alien) for the two films being released in a two-fer package in 3D for only two weeks in early October!!!!!

That's Disney for you...endless flogging of the same titles, over and over and over again.

In case anyone didn't see the teaser trailer, I posted it on TMR earlier in August:

Buzz and Woody are back for TOY STORY 1 and 2 in 3-D

Personally, I'm not a HUGE fan of 3-D, but it's Toy Story and I'm a sucker for almost anything Pixar does...so I'll be there.

(Eddie, no comments please. Thanks! )

Is it not true that it will also be released on Blu Ray the same week they re-release the 2 movies in 3D? And I like the idea of a double, it kinda brings me back to the day when I used to go to the local Cinema on a Saturday afternoon and watch the double features. And re-releasing family movies is nothing new. Again they used to do this when I was a kid. I can remember every Christmas season, they would release the cheeky but fun kids Christmas movie, "The Chirstmas That Almost Wasn't." This was an italian made holiday movie. It was funny because it was made the same year I was born, 1965. It starred Rossano Brazzi who also directed. But again nothing new.
