Redbox files suit against Fox Published Aug 12, 2009 Redbox has filed suit against 20th Century Fox because of the studio's new distribution terms, which would prohibit Redbox kiosks from carrying Fox DVDs until at least 30 days after their initial street date.

While Fox and Universal declare war on Redbox’s business, other movie studios are embracing the kiosks. Both Sony and Lions Gate have entered into five-year deals to allow Redbox to distribute their DVDs at release time. Meanwhile, Redbox plans to continue offering new releases from all studios, even if it means employees have to buy the DVDs at retail price the old-fashioned way.

I didn't read the article yet but if they go out and buy these movies from the studios that don't want their movies being rented through redbox..doesn't that kinda like violate the 5 or 6 fbi warnings that we all have to sit through before we can watch the gd movie?
