Comingsoon.net has posted a story that Chris Nolan may film the third instalment of the caped cruisader entirely in IMAX. They reported that this will indeed be a daunting task, due to the fact of the equipment used. This includes the special lenses and the availability of the rigs used to shoot the film.

If this is true it would be more expensive to film a 2 hour movie completely in IMAX. On the bright side, as you can see from the IMAX scenes in Dark Knight, it would look awesome in bluray and in theatres of course.

i easily welcome the use of imax cameras in filming movies. however i think it would be overkill for an entire batman movie, as awesome any action piece or wide shot would be, to be used with only imax cameras. plus with these movis clocking in at like two and a half hours, it would be relatively hard

he needs to use some sort of gimmick. already predicting a huge dissapointment with part 3. ledger's joker cannot be toppped.

Apparently Arnold will be busy with True Lies 2 when he leaves office. Plus he's making a cameo in that Sylvester Stallone movie with the insane cast. Can't remember the title and I don't know if he's filming his scenes(s) while in office or after he leaves.

Who's the next villain going to be in Batman anyway?

I say Johnny Depp, Gerrard Butler, John Malkovich, or....(I can't think of anyone else at the moment but I know I'm missing some good ones) should play the villain.
