Forget Xbox 360's NATAL, or Sony's Chopstick GIRLY Wands. It's GameGun for me!

If this guy is actually legit, and his product actually holds water by this Holiday Season... My decision to actually purchase a console system will be sealed.

Imagine using this to play Gears of War 2, or Killzone 2!

Apparently, there will be a 'wireless' version. Expect to pay premium, of course.

Ok, not a bad concept I will admit. However, what happens when you're done shooting and have to drive a car? How would you do games based on the GTA platform? Better yet, what about certain sports games like golf or tennis? What about other shooter games that blend in with driving a tank or flying? Would you take this toy to town hall meetings where the President of the US will appear?

Then again, maybe not a good concept.

This should actually be possible to do with Natal.

However, I don't like the fact I have to look at a small screen on the gun. It doesn't make it that very immersive or realistic for that matter.

Apparently, watching the video from the 2nd link, Matrox will be providing the player 3 choices of viewing capability: A small LCD screen on top of the gun... a 12-foot projection screen on any wall, coming from the gun... or a headgear, where you see everything through the goggles. Again, I'll believe it (and even buy it) when I see it (work flawlessly).

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Granted I'm not a 'gamepad' player, I can't name enough shooter (only) games, that can justify buying this sure-to-be-expensive peripheral.
Unless, of course, buttons are situated on the sides of the gun (including a pair of analog sticks)... then it MIGHT work - with a slight issue of a learning curve for the user.

Bah! Who knows... it may just be VAPORWARE.
