Sound and Vision has a really good article about the system that was way before its time. Yes the Dreamcast, say what you want it was a great system. Kinda reminds me of the Tucker, the car that was way before it's time. But if you got time check it out, and let's have a shout out to SEGA...........Happy Birthday Mr. Dreamcast or Mrs. Dreamcast whichever you prefer.

i think that the controller had a design flaw with the connection cord attached at the bottom instead of at the top. otherwise, yeah, it was surprising to see sega give up on the console market.

Worked all summer that year to pre order that system at gamestop. I loved it, it had the best sports games that year and the others were pretty good. The internet was much faster than the crappy computer I had.

The controller was pretty bad and the VMU did not work out at all.
