i actually enjoyed this movie, pretty entertaining, i thought it was really campy but thats what made it so funny, megan fox kissing girls didnt hurt either lol

This movie tanked BIG time. It only made $2.7 million in the U.S. box office on friday. Wowzers.

Part of its failure was from all the overhype and I also believe that when they realized it had to be sold as a horror comedy as opposed to a thriller or straight up horror it turned off a lot of viewers.

Personally, I think it just didn't appeal to anyone.

Yes, it's doing unexpectedly poorly, according to Box Office Mojo coming in fifth for the weekend, well behind "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" and "The Informant!" http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2009&wknd=38&p=.htm

Interestingly, of all the movies still in theaters this year, the two biggest winners are "Inglourious Basterds" and "Julie & Julia," two of the most opposite films imaginable, yet both of them well worth seeing.

Glad to see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" do well. Took the kids to see it today. Honestly thought I was going to use the time for a short nap. Movie was very funny. Had no idea Mr. T and Bruce Campbell were going to do voicework along with James Caan. I guess it's wishful thinking these three will do a live action movie together!
