I just finished watching the last season of Battlestar Galactica... I guess it was just too expensive to maintain, regardless of the series' great writing. I will miss this one.

"Lost" ( athough not over yet I am certainly not looking forward to its demise)

And ofcoarse "Battlestar". Come to think of it the original ended to early as well.

Sports Night. Yes, it ran for two seasons. Yes, ABC aired each and every episode. But damn, it was a brilliant show with wonderful actors, all of whom used it as a lauching pad for other projects. Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives), Peter Krause (Six Feet Under), Josh Charles (In Treatment), Joshua Molina (The West Wing)...hell,Robert Guillame was in it!

My other one is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Matthew Perry was extraordinary, Aaron Sorkin had a talented cast and people wanted to work with him. NBC marketed it terribly and had no idea what to do with it. Too high concept and smart for a network relying on Deal or No Deal at the time. It prolly would have fit nicely on ABC alongside Desperate Housewives.

"Deadwood" would've been nice for at least one more season, or the feature film that was initially planned.

There was a really goofy wall street show out years ago called "The $treet" with Jennifer Connelly that I would be at least interested in seeing on disk.

Also, a sixth season of "Angel" could have been interesting. "Firefly" is a no brainer, but I would be happy with another film.

Add Startrek Enterprise to my list. I would love to see a new Trek series based on the last movie but that ain't 'gonna happen for a loooong time.

^ I've always been a proponent of an anthology series where we follow different people each week. Maybe a Klingon episode, a Borg show, Starfleet, something from the past, Sulu's last adventure on the Excelsior...stuff like that.

"UFO Hunters," which may or may not be back for a third season.
