Can't say they did. Sure they didn't recoup the $150 million in production costs, but that's what home video is for anyways. I would imagine that their DVD, Blu-ray and digital download rentals/sales are making up for any box office loss, not to mention the separate releases of the Motion Comic and Black Freighter disks.

A movie pretty much has to make 2.5 times its production cost to financially successful. Has it done that with their Video releases? I don't know. Oh yeah we haven't even talked about their massive marketing costs.
