I heard they're working on a reboot of the Star Trek Reboot.

Eventually a movie will have a bad opening weekend and they'll be talking about a Reboot of it that monday.

A reboot of Fatastic Four kind of makes sense, but it is laughable because I just don't see how they could remove the cheese. I hardly believe a reboot of the already rebooted Star Trek, though. ST did great Box Office and picked up rave reviews - it just wouldn't make any sense. Then again, we are talking about an industry that thinks mostly out of their @$$.

This one I'm all in favor of. What they did to the FF was just insulting, barely above Roger Corman's first effort. It shouldn't be possible to screw a great and fairly straightforward villain like Dr. Doom as badly as they did. They're great characters and deserve to be taken seriously.

Fox is also looking to reboot "Daredevil" and they still have a "Silver Surfer" film in development. AND Lauren Schuler Donner has been talking about doing more X-flicks. They've got "X-Men: First Class," "Wolverine 2," "Magneto," and "Deadpool" in the pipeline and she mentioned possibly doing "New Mutants" and X4.

Makes sense for them to milk those properties as much as they can before the rights revert to Disney/Marvel. Not saying any of them will be good. These are the same people who thought Galactus should be a cloud.

I'm waiting for the remake of the old Bruce Willis movie "Surrogates." Should be sometime in the early spring. Followed by the "Pandorum" reboot as a summer blockbuster.

Or are they closing all the blockbusters, even in the summer?

Funny thing is, this actually increases the similarities between movies and comic books (which have already been converging) because God knows Marvel hasn't been above constantly rebooting characters so they can get more #1 issues out on the shelves.
