best ever eh. wow. I have heard excellent things about it but this seems like a bit of new game hyperbole. if it is the best ever...I sincerely feel sorry for the xbox and wii crowd and gamers in general who won't get to play this. the best single player game...EVER. (now thinking of mario)

yeah. im in for sure.

edit: maybe THIS is the real reason ps3 is "bricking"? it simply cannot handle having the "best single player game ever" after being sh*t on for so long.

Definitely pre-release hype. I'm thinking back to all of my most memorable single-player gaming experiences and that is quite a boast.

Zelda: Oot, super mario world (nintendo 64), final fantasy 7(ps2), panzer dragoon rpg (sega saturn), resident evil 4 (gamecube), king's quest 5 (pc), secret of monkey island (pc), vagrant story (ps2), and I could go on.

That being said I know that it will be a good game and I have my pre-order arriving next tuesday. Unfortunately, I won't be playing the multiplayer though. Too afraid to update to the new firmware.

It would seem that alot of reviewers agree somewhat with Adam. I've read several reviews where they have given it GOTY. I've played the beta and it is soooo much fun.

Looks ok, maybe its one of those games thats better when you play it.

I just scored FIFA 09 for $15 a couple of days ago and I love it! Awesome game. Used games and movies on craiglist are the way to go.

I've been having some good luck picking up used games from Amazon too! Got last years Madden for PS3 for about $15 shipped last month.

Nice price. I'll have to check amazon.ca to see if there are any good used deals here in Canada.

Someone also mentioned Ebay so give that a shot too.

UGH, so many games so little money. I can't wait for a few months after Christmas when I can afford (justify to the wife) some of these great games.

Of course by that time FF13 and God of War 3 will be out so I will be screwed once again.
