What do you think George Lucas' home theater looks like? An actual theater built into his home? I wonder if it's THX certified?

NachtDerKriecher, it wouldn't shock me if Lucas' bedroom, washroom, car, etc are all THX certified.

Things that make you go hmmmm...

Why is it when hearing uncompressed audio like Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD, DTS HD MA, etc they all sound different based in whether is PCM or Bitstreamed?

Even when PCM'd it sounds different on different hardware. Same with Bitstream. Shouldn't they all sound the same?

I know I know, audio decoders are not all the same but still, all things being equal (receiver, speakers, cables, etc) it should sound the same.

Lucas no doubt has a state-of-the-art home theater. However, since he lives next door to his Skywalker Ranch, he can always use the full-sized theater he has there to watch any film he'd like, shipped directly from Hollywood via hard disc and shown from his digital projectors.

at his house he probably has a really nice THX certified HTIB. but at skywalker, well yeah, he has whatever John said and then a bunch of mini theaters to explain to you in full detail just how the main theater became darth vader. you know how george likes to go indepth with that sort of thing.

"and here on the left is the lil ani theater...and here on the right is lukes theater..over there is padmes theater and over here is leias. if you will look up you will see the clonetrooper theater and across the way the stormtroopers. in the bathroom you will find yodas theater and next to it young obi wans..."
