not much of a collection to be honest, ANYTHING that has the words "John Wayne" and "collection" on the front cover MUST include True Grit and Big Jake

The Alamo would also be appreciated )

"true grit" belongs to paramount, and "the alamo" belongs to mgm. the big studios haven't been collaborating on box sets lately.

"True Grit" or any of those others shouldn't be included simply because the collection is about the relationship between Wayne and Ford and how it evolved through various films that they worked on. Granted some of the films included aren't the greatest of their career together, but it gives a nice representation.

Truthfully I don't think it's as nice a set as the old release. It's a trade off of two films (3 if you count the American release which included "Stagecoach") for the documentary. Choices choices, but at least there are individual releases of all the films for those that would rather pick and choose their favorites.
