Besides, I remember when I got my present Sony XBR, I talked the sales clerk into a free calibration, where a young fellow came out and used almost exactly such a system to calibrate the set's color. The result when he left was unwatchable, and reset everything myself.

View profile »However their is a bit of a confusing side to all of this. If I use the exact same settings that I use for "movie" for any of the other presets (standard,custom,dynamic) I get drastically different results that frankly suck. (For exampleColor set at 50 on dynamic looks nothing like Color set on 50 on movie.)
Just stick to the digital video essentials ironbull.
