That's pretty tough to read, Eddie. I know I've had some hard times this year and have been about as close as you were to the thought of giving it all up. What's helped me is family, good friends and basically knowing I'm not alone in this mess we call life. In fact, our hardest times are what keep us going and spark the instinct to survive - at least when you start looking at it that way. How we deal with death is just as important as how we deal with life. I find booze . . . no, scratch that. In addition to your thoughts of getting out and living, may I suggest you add a lot of laughter to it, and I mean a lot! Being able to laugh at it all certainly helps you stay focused.

Blade,

I think we all appreciate the sincerity of your response, but as you cut and pasted the comments from http://www.holisticonline.com/guided-imagery.htm, could you go back and preface them with the proper reference? Thanks much.

Blade,

Thank you again for the posting. But could you please go back and preface it with the proper reference. Without the proper citation, it would be interpreted as plagarism, no matter how sincere.

Eddie,

I'm sorry to hear about your friends. I think we all have thoughts of whether we want to continue or not, but it's how we act upon them that counts.

I agree completely that getting out of your routine, and simply getting out... outside, out doors, out in nature, out with friends, can change your perspective, attitude and focus.

I don't know you that well, but I do know that you're a good guy, someone that everyone here respects and someone we'd all miss if anything ever happened to you. I think I speak for everyone here when I say that.

If you ever need someone to talk with, dude, I've got your back.

Hopefully your email is still the same, I'll send you one with my number.

Hang in there, man. It's tough for us all, we just have to stick together.

- Josh
