I just read on Comingsoon.net, that Sony and Panasonic will intorduce their NEW 3D line of TV's next year. In the article it states that Panasonic will untilize PLASMA technology along with a prototype Blu Ray player. I thought Panasonic was getting out of the PLASMA business?

Pioneer got out of the Plasma business. So we need NEW bluray players for this technology huh. I'm sure that will go over well with consumers.

WOW I am slipping, it was Pioneer, sorry Falcon I had a blonde moment.
Hell I can remember a few people kicking this around earlier this year about how the Blu Ray people said that you would NOT need anything new to enjoy the benefits of the new 3D technology. Duh, how dumb can I be. Like they would not tap our wallets for MORE of our $.

Yep, new TV and new player to enjoy, what, the handful of films made in 3-D now? Sounds like a big winner to me, esp. in a down economy.

I can't believe the handful who still drool every time there's a 3-D release of something. It has never added anything to the storytelling. It's as gimmicky now as it ever was.
