Haven't watched it or purchased it yet. Waiting to see if I score a used set or just wait for the price to drop big time. I think it's $42 plus tax up here.

if you like the show then you will like this. the pq. is the same as the cw. movie however the sound is just plain vanilla dd 5.1. (as you would expect from a tv show). looking forward to season 2. a must buy for star wars fans.

Am I the only one that thinks the CG animation is subpar compared to today's standards? Ok, Ok, the show is not bad compared to other shows but the movie that was at the theater wasn't much better.

wolvinator,
you're right the movie was ok however, the TV series is really good. I personally like the animation style of the series but the biggest thing is the story lines of each episode are great. Also, for me, the more Star Wars I get to see the better and this series doesn't disappoint like some of the other SW crap did.

Ummmm, I went to Walmart, ToysRUs (yes they have movies and games) and a Bestbuy and couldn't find this thing today. I also couldn't find G.R.I.D. for the PS3 but thats another issue.

If any of you Canadians see it cheap somewhere can you post it please? Thanks.

I think the animation is pretty fantastic for a tv show. and the movie was suppose to be a four part "pilot" to open the series so it shouldn't look better. considering that 22 episodes (at aprox. 24 min. each) and the movie was produced in a pretty short timeframe...the animation is actually very good. ( unless ofcoarse you don't care for the style of the animation).

I just thought that compared to something like Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(a more comic look) that it couldn't compare.
