Hi John,
I just purchased the new 2-Disc version of “The Longest Day”. And guess what? Several other WWII classics are getting these upgrades too, like “Patton” & a few others I believe. Can you add these to the database?
Thanx,

Where did you purchase these DVDs? I am looking for them in my local area.

Hiya rpruthee,

I ordered "The Longest Day" via Amazon.com, but DeepDiscountDVD.com usually has them cheaper with Free Shipping (Always!)
"Patton" & "The Dirty Dozen" are being re-released in 2-Disc extra-stuff editions too. Yikes! What excitement!

Anywho! You can always get them cheaper on-line; you can use Pricegrabber.com to find a lot of on-line low-bidders on DVDs, CDs, or almost anything. Sometimes you can find vulgarly good deals during sales, and some sites offer free shipping and no sales tax.

On the other hand, not all of the open door and walk-in retail outlets in malls are the same either, are they? You find your favorite one the old way - ask a friend.

Vulgar tip of the week:
Kingdom of Heaven (4-Disc Director's Cut) - $17:46 Amazon.com*
*The only bad thing is that to get the free shipping you have to spend over
$25.00 . . .

. . . so I bought the new 2-Disc version ‘The Longest Day’, too

ciao,
