Hi I am new here, and would like to know how do I print a dvd cover for one i lost.

There are lots of websites if you google dvd covers...some of them scans of the originals, some of them custom covers, which in many cases look way better than the original.

Once you have selected and have the one you want, you can print it with your printer or go to Copy Zone or Kinkos to print it, so that you can get a better quality.

I would actually start designing my own covers so that all of them match accordingly, but that would take a long time...

I'm with you on that - I too would much rather just design my own via some graphics program, like Photo Shop or Corel Draw. Of course, I would design covers that appeal to colored urban culture, with a bit of Hispanic appeal, and to gain the respect of Asian culture, I'd make covers with lots of dragons on them. They would be much better than the original covers because I'm a white guy.
