I am sure lot of people have seen this movie. Can someone rate this movie on a scale of 10. How does the present DVD stand?

I wouldn't doubt a Newman box is in the works.

We've seen the Dean collection, two McQueen collections, you would think they would have a Newman collection planned, or at least a SE for Cool Hand Luke. Cassidy, and the upcoming re-release of The Sting got their fix, why not CHL?

8/10
I'd give it a 9, but a real man could eat twice as many hard-boiled eggs.

I think I've mentioned before that I love this film (9/10 at least); I think it's one of Newman's finest performances, quintessential Newman, if you will. The present DVD, which has been around for years, is a bit on the lean side, with a slightly faded-looking picture quality and no extras.

Dean, McQueen, Kubrick.
I think you have to die to get your own movie collection...
Sean (I'm still waitin' for the Quntessential Platinum Over-the-top Chris Farley Collection...) :o

Their is a Paul Newman collection, however it just assembles the already released versions of Butch Cassidy Sp. Ed., The Hustler Sp.Ed. and the Juror. It only cost me $17 so if you can find it buy it.

Hey OniJay!
It's "The Verdict", not The Juror! And it's the performance Newman should have won the award for instead of getting it for playing an old Fast Eddie in "The Color of Money". ... ya betcha! 8)

Was Paul Newman ever in a stage production of "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof"?
