No joke, this is one of the highest quality DVD sets i've ever seen. It looks like it was filmed yesterday, and I was just shocked how good this show looks. Not only that, the special features are also fantastic. It has the original pilot (Called Sex & Violence), deleted scenes for every episode, a trivia track, and something truly great: The original pitch for the show. This is absolutly hilarious. It's a human like puppet doing a newscast and telling the CBS bigwigs how famous and rich they will all become if they buy this show and put it on the air. At the end he says "And if you buy this show, God himself will come down and say "LET THEM HAVE A 40 SHARE!!!"" Pure genious.
Lastly, this is the best DVD packaging I've ever seen. Over the actual DVD case is a fuzzy cover made to look like Kermit the frogs stomach. It's just awesome.
Ohh, and in case you forgot, this is the best family show ever made, and hasn't lost a bit of it's luster in over 25 years. No show has ever stood the test of time like The Muppet Show. This is one of the best DVD's I own, and you all should buy it.

But maybe, jarrodi, you could expand further on the thoughts you've already expressed here, develop a full review, and post it under "Comments" with the movie or TV series involved. We welcome and encourage reader opinions, and unlike the Message Board posts, the "Comments" stay attached to the movie in our archives forevermore.

Alright. As much of a starving student, as I am, your comments have peaked my interests, and I may just have to go get this set. I've always been a "Muppets" fan, and hope, someday, when I have kids, to get them addicted as well. Jim Henson is a genius, and he'll be forever missed.
