Since this DVD and Abbott and Costello Meet The Mummy, Universal did right for the Abbott and Costello movie catalogue by releasing eigtht at a time on two double disc sets which were affordably priced.
Now if only their famed tv shows could be collected in box set form instad of having to buy a long library shelf of DVDs. The TV series THE TWILIGHT ZONE and STAR TREK were first sold as single volumes and are now combined in boxsets. The Abbott and Costello show ran for two years and were rerun millions of times on WPIX, a local New York television station. When cable bought up all the episodes, the show went into oblivion.
Alone or as part of a collection, you can't go wrong with ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN. Next to their "Who's On First" routine this is what they should be remembered for.
