Aliens [Special Edition]

If there's a better sci-fi action movie, I really don't know what it is.

Great production values, a decent wit, and an ever-escalating adventure that never lets you stop to catch your breath make this a classic of the sci-fi genre. Cameron was at the top of his game here. Let's see if he can keep his success running once he picks up the megaphone again.

This is one that will last through the years.

One of the best sci-fi films ever made and truly an occasion where the sequel transcends its predecessor.

Ripley's enduring strength and determination, high-tech gadgetry, and the relentless pursuit by the alien creatures make for one helluva roller-coaster ride. Cameron's trademark use of water and darkness are ever present and help to create just the right atmosphere.

"Aliens" is one of those rare films that can keep my attentions riveted to the screen upon every viewing, I never tire of the story and coarse, energetic characters. The 'Special Edition' of the film rounded out the film nicely and finally gave me that glimpse in to the settlers lives before the alien attack, that I so desperately envisioned for years.

A true classic, a must have in every collection and Cameron's biggest achievement in my opinion.
