Coverart for the regular edition is wicked. That was my favorite poster art.
Why not put this on the deluxe!?!?!

The bare-bones single-disc versions are for rental places like Blockbuster as well as for people who don't want to watch extras. The 2-disc versions are for big-time fans of certain movies ("Constantine" and "The Phantom of the Opera" come to mind) or DVD collectors.

It is also to provide better pricing to retailers. Single disc edition have more margin as compared to a 2 disc edition. By just offering just 2 disc editions, retailers don't make any profit.

That is true. The Deluxe will be a must dvd for the holidays. Batman was such a good film but i dont know hot compare the BATMAN they are different and are perfect in there own way. At the same time have tiny flaws but i wouldnt say it is the best comic book film of all time.
