Great review...but you're going to be getting a lot of comments from fanboys about your Keaton as the best Batman/Wayne comment...

Greatest Batman movie, still, Batman Returns...

Well, I was only reviewing the earlier set here, not the later Nolan movies.

I didn't care for Clooney as Batman, even though he's one of my favorite actors. Keaton is probably a bit better than Kilmer, who was handicapped by not having a very good movie behind him. Which brings up Bale, who is just fine in the role and looks better in the part than any previous actor (except maybe Adam West, despite the stupidity of the old TV series).

I thought Clooney was miles better than Kilmer who was cringe-inducing. Batman and Robin can at least be enjoyed as camp. Batman Forever is simply torture.

"batman forever", "batman & robin", and "the phantom of the opera" are clearly meant to be viewed as a trilogy by joel schumacher.

Batman and Robin Killed my hope for a good Batman Movie.

I was very pleased when Nolan fixed the mess that schumacher crapped out on the screen.

Clearly Batman Forever was Bad, but Batman and Robin was just Toxic
