The only thing i can argue is that based on the description and menu screens, it includes the pilot miniseries and all 13 episodes of the first season, which is not a bad idea if you didn't buy the previous DVD release of the miniseries, but since most of us actually did buy it, well... what are we soppused to do with the miniseries DVD know?...
I really hate these marketing techniques where they keep releasing better and larger DVD versions of a movie or TV series, making you spend more money that we should, rather than releasing the best DVD version at first, and get it over with.

It looks like Best Buy has received this series already this week. It's the UK version of the DVDs recoded to Region 1. It has the 13 episodes and the deleted scenes, it appears to have no other extras. Might be worth looking into since you already have the miniseries.

I just got the UK version and it's ok I just got it because I have not seen all of the episodes I'm still going to get the us version I'll just send the UK one to a frend of mine :(

I got the 1st version when it came out. Then I start seeing ads for the UK version and now another version to be released in September. I was wondering what was going on. Didn't I just get the series? How is it coming out in September when I got it about a month ago? There's no mention of the differences between each version. This really stinks.

Hay Hoi Yee is Six on the cover and did you get it at best buy ? if Yes then you have the UK version I know it suck the way they do things like the rest of I got the miniseries DVD and then the uk DVD and Now I have to get the US dvd that has 13 episodes and the miniseries all in one it's just about how much money they can get out of us :.( the differences between them is the US dvd will have Audio commentarys on some of the episodes and the UK does not Plus the US will have a featurettes and the UK just has the Deleted scenes and the UK just has the 13 shows :@

Hi Kevzin, it turns out I got the miniseries. So I'm better off in just getting the UK version.
