10,000 BC (Blu-ray)

I was a bit sceptical of this one at first. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The Story was good, and the acting was good, but the CGI was aweful. It reminded me of a painful shot in Star Wars Return of Jedi with the pit monster/ or Jabbas Giant, when the Sabertooth Tiger showed up. Wow, you could see the flaws unfold... The Movie itself had some excellent cinematography, and giant shots of the pyramids screamed something was going on. Unfortunately the movie did however remind too much of Apocolypto, with out the forgien language and subtitles. Maybe that would have made it more authentic, but still enjoyable. The Sound was well done for all of the action scenes, but in the start of the film, I couldn't help myself but turn it up a few times, to hear the dialogue. I'm no reviewer like John or Jason, but I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. Worth the 5 bucks at the rental store.
