Everyone listen up: save yourself some money and just read Jim's review. Now that was hilarious... and free!

I'm definitely going to stay clear from this one. I also kept my distance from "Semi-Pro" too. Maybe I'm the only person to say this, but I think Will Ferrell is really overrated. Even on his SNL "best of" feature, the only real funny part was the cowbell sketch. I hope it comes on TV again soon so I can plan accordingly to just record the cowbell sketch and that way I can free up about 90 minutes on my PVR.

As long as Will Ferrell is described as a sentient being, I will consider him overrated.

The only Ferrell moment I can think of that I found funny was when Doctor Evil kills him in the first Austin Powers movie. "I'm still alive only very badly burned." Other than that he is as one-note as it gets.

I have heard more than one person say "He's the most brilliant comedian of all time!" and all I can do is stare slack jawed at them and try and hold down the vomit.

And yet I have to admit that I find ELF hilarious, and TALLADEGA NIGHTS funny enough.

I thought BLADES OF GLORY was OK too (haven't seen "Step Brothers").

Yeah, Elf was cute and I am probably the only person on the planet that actually liked "A Night at the Roxbury." But like Jim Carrey, he's getting tiresome already and making really bad cinematic choices.

I liked Ferrell as the crazy Nazi in "The Producers" and the literary figure in "Stranger Than Fictiion" who doesn't know he's actually a character in somebody's novel.
